Spearthrower made of dark wood, black gum and vegetable leaf fibre. Peg of round stick is fastened with black gum. Grip bound with yellow fibre. Marked on in black ink: '1939.153.2' and 'DLJ 824.77'. From Green and Hatfield, antiques dealer on Fore Street in Ipswich.
