Large salt-glazed stoneware bottle or flagon with brown lustrous glaze, decorated with applied relief royal crest at front, flanked by 2 recumbent lions, 2 trees and one drinking figure and one standing figure holding riding crop. Large lopped handle. Bands around neck, top of shoulder and bottom of body., impressed maker's mark on shoulder 'Doulton and Co / Lambeth / Ltd' in a circle.
