Large earthenware wash bowl. Decorated with transfer-printed design consisting of four coloured parrots on branches that have passion flowers, butterflies all on a dark green circles net-like ground. Shaped edge. Part of toilet set. Printed mark in green 'Copeland and Garrett / Late Spode / New Fayence' on base. Also, printed mark in green 'B.No. 425', impressed maker's mark 'Copeland and Garrett / Late Spode' in a circle and impressed '2' 'Q'.
