White porcelain mug with ovoid body, transfer printed in black with half portrait of Frederick the Great, the 'King of Prussia' in armour on one side with date '1757' below, angel with 2 trumpets on the other, centre trophies and flags with the names of battles. Handle is ridged and looped. There is a small winged cherub carrying a laurel wreath above the king. Monogram 'RH' for Richard Holdship below trophies and flags and also Josiah Holdship anchor rebus.
