Small ceramic scallop shell shaped pickle dish or 'pecten' shell type tray. Decorated with underglaze blue design consisting of a central floral sprig, flying insects, with scroll pattern border along edge and scale and dot pattern on holding part of dish. Moulded ribs to shell-shaped body.
