Plaster cast figure and base in two parts. The figure part is Queen Victoria, seated on an elaborate chair or throne with a child sitting on her lap. She appears to be wearing a crown. Around the base of the figure part is the iscription 'Pub. as the act directs October 1848 by G. Franchi'. The base is semi-circular and architectual in style with scrolling supports and floral embellishments. The base has inscription in top 'Published by G. Franchi / 69 Middleton Street/London'.
