Hard-paste porcelain figure of a man, probably a shepherd, who is playing bagpipes, sitting on a tree stump, with dog crouched beside him. Small part of boccage tree to right side. Mounted on scroll-decorated base that is highlighted in blue, pink and gilt. Missing a scrolled extending section to left side that once held a candle scone., one of a pair with IPSMG: R.1947-32.17, which is the shepherdess figure
