Published state no.III or after. It has no.29 at top right and artist's address erased. Published after re-working by Bohn in 1855. Constable was not satisfied with the first plate, in which he considered that the terraces were not strongly marked. He substituted a second plate for the one which appeared in the first edition of the English Landscape series, January 1831. This second plate was published by the artist in the second edition, 1833. Purchased from Edwin Rose, 1950
