Terracotta Wattisfield ware mug, hand-thrown, decorated with grey glaze that becomes semi-opaque towards the bottom. Glazed inside with same grey glaze and on handle. Exposed terracotta clay on the base. Sides taper inwards to the rim., impressed maker's mark on base 'Handmade in England / Wattisfield Ware / SFK' and motif of a pot at the centre.
