Golding Constable's Flower Garden, August 1815

View from the upper window at East Bergholt House (where John was born). The flower garden had been recently planted by his mother before she passed away. This painting forms a panoramic view with IPSMG:R.1955.96.2, although they were not painted at the same time. Acquired through the Ernest E Cook Bequest via the National Art Collections Fund.
