Dress topee that has been painted white, with a cream banding around it and with a brass badge of the British coat of arms attached on a tan leather strap at the front. There is a hand-written paper label inside the hat that reads ' C. Partridge Esq. / 16/10/12 / Size 7'. The maker's mark is also in gold lettering inside the hat, at the crown, that reads 'A & N.C.S.L. London'.
