sword, dress sword

Dress sword and scabbard. The sword has a brass hilt and a steel blade. The hilt has a woven gold metallic textile band wound around it and has a gold metallic covered pommel attached. The blade is etched with a decorative design along its length and also with the maker's name and address towards the hilt ('J.R. Gaunt and Son Ltd, 53 Conduit Street, London'). The scabbard is made from leather with brass top and bottom sections.
