teacup, saucer

White bone china teacup and saucer that was made to commemorate H.R.H. Princess Elizabeth. It is decorated with sepia photographic print of Princess Elizabeth as a small child on the front of the teacup and centre of saucer. On the back of the teacup there is a sepia printed inscription 'Souvenir/of/Princess Elizabeth/By special permission/of Her Royal Highness/The Duchess of York'. The saucer has printed inscription 'Our Empire's Little Princess/Born April 21st, 1926'. Gilt and red edging., printed sepia mark on base of both 'reproduced by Paragon China Company, England..'
