Snout of a fossil whale, Choneziphius moorei, from the red crag, possibly collected at Walton-on-Naze. Figured in the Essex Naturalist, Vol XVII, Pl VIII, length 1'2" [drawing]. CI - Purchased by Museum Committee with and of £10 from Friends of Ipswich Museum Fund. Part of the Major Moore collection.
