Programme for the opening of the regent Welcome Club, April 1st 1944. Mr Beeson, prior to the D Day landings in Normandy (6th June 1944), he was billeted in Ipswich at 242 Cauldwell Hall Road for several months- a member of the 39th Field Hygiene Section of the Royal Army Medical Corps. Mr Beeson and his fellow friends were frequent visitors to the Hippodrome in Ipswich.
